Our First Month in Pohnpei

Here in Pohnepi they have a English group which is very encouraging to many from the outer islands that can speak english but not Pohnepian. We fill up this little back room and many times there are not enough seat. Here Levi is giving the Public talk on Sunday.

Janet a young sister that we actually meet in Kosrea when she and a couple other brothers and sisters took the boat from here to Kosrea, just for fun. Here as you can see was baptized at the Special Assembly Day.

As you can see our first month here has mainly been training in forming and mixing and pouring side walks. They sure make the place look very beautiful.

Levi fixing the roof, Such a terrible place we had to work in(Just kidding) Kosrea is very beautiful and very relaxing.

Kosrea has many many bananas. This was someones house and all the stands along the side of the road had bananas they are literally everywhere :)

Levi spotted this random tank by the side of the road.

Tricia painting the new electrical pipe that feeds the new light in the front of the building.

Kosrea Kingdom Hall and Missionary home in the back ground.

This is the back door of the special pioneers home the water can get pretty high during high tide but all they have to do is jump on a 20ft Styrofoam(often used by locals for fishing they came off a big boat) and head over to Bully's ( the greatest restaurant on Island)

Kosrea is a very small hall so the sisters run the sound and also have territory and literature assignments. So here is Cathy checking literature inventory :)

Well Kosrea is definitional a place to visit not only are Jehovah's people beautiful but also his creation. Kosrea is full of sanding beaches and beautiful mountains and a very relaxed atmosphere. And it of course has some great resorts that are fun to go hang out at.Yes we enjoyed Kosrea very much we hope you enjoy the pictures that give you a taste of a little island style.:)
